In September 2023, INFiLED undertook a remarkable installation project for the global Formula 1 Grand Prix event in Qatar. The INFiLED’s LED displays installed at the famous location were meticulously designed to serve a dual and strong purpose: to provide essential display digital media content, adding an extra layer of excitement to the Formula 1 experience.

The INFiLED installation for the Formula 1 event includes 16 screens, each measuring 13x3.5 meters and features a precise 3.47mm transparent pixel pitch. Furthermore, an additional 4,968 square meters of a state-of-the-art 71mm mesh LED Display has been seamlessly integrated with the architecture of the venue, setting a new benchmark in LED technology for Formula 1 events. This installation represents a remarkable advancement in visual technology for the event.

Confronted with the challenge of accommodating 16 expansive windows, each measuring an impressive size, INFiLED embarked on a mission that demanded creativity as well as precision. The goal was clear: to create a solution that could flawlessly display dynamic digital content while preserving the unobstructed view from within the building.

The cornerstone of the INFiLED solution lays in the intricacies of the screens that were deployed, featuring a remarkable 3.47mm transparent pixel pitch. Moreover, we incorporated a colossal 71mm mesh LED Display of almost 5000 square meters, to deliver an unparalleled visual experience. This installation was placed on the roof and was intended to be captured by drone cameras for television broadcast, not for direct viewing by an audience.

But the transparent LED screens and the minute details were not the only highlights of our endeavor. INFiLED also achieved native 4K resolution, ensuring that every pixel and feature would be rendered with impeccable sharpness, taking the visual experience to unprecedented levels.

The grand finale saw our LED screens elevating the global F1 event to new heights. They seamlessly aligned with the event's standards, enriching the overall experience for everyone involved. The organizers' vision had come to life, and the visitors were treated to an unforgettable spectacle.
